ஆராய்ச்சியாளர்கள் என்று சொல்லிக் கொள்பவர்கள், அரசியல்வாதிகள் – என்று இந்தியாவில் பலரும்
தொடர்ந்து, விடாப்பிடியாக பிடித்துக் கொண்டிருப்பது
ஆரியர்-திராவிடர் பற்றிய கருத்துகளைத் தான்.

தங்களுக்கு வசதிப்படுகிறது என்பதற்காக இவர்கள்
தொடர்ந்து, திராவிடர்கள் தான் இந்தியாவின் பழங்குடி
மக்கள் என்றும் ஆரியர்கள் மத்திய ஆசியாவிலிருந்து
வந்த “வந்தேறி’கள் என்றும் இந்திய மக்களை
பிரித்துப் பார்ப்பதை தொழிலாக வைத்துக்
கொண்டிருக்கிறார்கள்.

இந்த பிரிவினைவாத கருத்து எத்தனை அபத்தமானது;
பொய்யானது; கற்பனையின் அடிப்படையிலானது
என்பதை டாக்டர் அம்பேத்கர் சுமார் 70-80 ஆண்டுகளுக்கு
முன்னரே மிகத் தெளிவாக பலமுறை பேசி இருக்கிறார்.
தனது புத்தகங்களிலும் எழுதி இருக்கிறார்…

இருந்தாலும் –
அம்பேத்கர் அவர்களை தங்கள் தலைவராக
ஏற்று, கொண்டாடும் அரசியல்வாதிகளும்,
அரசியல் கட்சிகளும் – அவரது இந்த கருத்தை மட்டும்
கண்டுகொள்ளாமல் விட்டு விடுகிறார்கள்….
இந்த கருத்துகள் அவர்களை பலவீனமாக்குவதாக
அவர்கள் கருதுவதே காரணம்….

பற்றி சொல்வது விவரமாக கீழே –

In his book “Who were the Shudras”-

He devoted a complete chapter – “Shudras versus Aryans” -to an examination of the issue.

This is what he said:

“The theory of invasion is an invention.
This invention is necessary because of a
gratuitous assumption that the Indo-Germanic
people are the purest of the modern representation of the original Aryan race.

The theory is perversion of scientific investigation. It is not allowed to evolve
out of facts.

On the contrary, the theory is preconceived and facts are selected to prove it. It falls to the ground at every point “.

Dr. Ambedkar concludes:

“The Vedas do not know any such race
as the Aryan race.

There is no evidence in the Vedas of any
invasion of India by the Aryan race and its
having conquered the Dasas and Dasyus supposed
to be the natives of India.

There is no evidence to show that the distinction between Aryans, Dasas and Dasyus was a racial distinction.

The Vedas do not support the contention that the Aryans were different in color from the Dasas and Dasyus…..”

“If anthropometry is a science which can be
depended upon to determine the race of a people…(then its) measurements establish that
the Brahmins and the Untouchables belong to the
same race. From this it follows that if the
Brahmins are Aryans the Untouchables are also Aryans. If the Brahmins are Dravidians,
the Untouchables are also Dravidians….”

Ambedkar was aware of the hold of this theory
over the masses and scholars alike. He offered
a succinct explanation.

“why the Aryan race theory is not dead –
because of the general insistence by European scholars that the word varna, means color and
the acceptance of that view by a majority…”

“The British were visualized as being the last of the invaders in a chain beginning with the Aryans. He could clearly see the implications of such
ill-founded hypotheses which colonial Indology imposed on India and which Indian scholars went on repeating ad nauseam.

Dr. Ambedkar was one of most honest and genuine well-wisher and well- doer of not only Dalits’ but for entire nation. He wanted to break caste system however unlike his contemporary anti-caste people like EV Ramasamy; he didn’t support Aryan Invasion theory.

In his book., “Who were Shudras”, chapter 4;
he gives detail reasoning to debunk Aryan Invasion theory. He exposes the entire purpose, strategy
and lie of this dubious theory.

He compares this theory to Poison and calls it
as dangerous as a snake which has to be killed.

It is really astonishing to see how he uses
science, history, logic and scripture to expose
the falsity of Aryan invasion theory.
In the beginning of Chapter 5, he recommends
for further investigation with the purpose to
break the hollowness of this theory completely.

Dr Ambedkar was quite intelligent enough to study all research papers on Aryan invasion theory.

It was based on The 1901 census by Herbert Hope Risley which had showed India had 2378 main castes in the hierarchy. Herbert Hope Risley proved these castes are different based on ‘Nasal Index’.
Dr Ambedkar rejected this theory saying these research papers are false.

According to Ambedkar – caste and race are different, The difference between castes are cultural, not racial. Caste cannot be race.

It is seen – in tropical region, black color people are seen in both Brahmins and tribal people.

Secondly Ambedkar also studied Rig Veda to show there was no mention of Shudra to begin with.
It came in later part of Rig Veda.

So he has concluded – Shudra is created later
from Kshatriya by denial of Upanayana through
Smriti injunction.

Specially the discrimination started in middle
age after the fall of Buddhism. All Buddhists
were made untouchables. This is mentioned in
his book – “Who were Shudra”.

“The measurements establish that the Brahmin
and the Untouchables belong to the same race.
From this it follows that if the Brahmins are
Aryans the Untouchables are also Aryans.

If the Brahmins are Dravidians the Untouchables
are also Dravidians. If the Brahmins are Nagas,
the Untouchables are also Nagas. Such being
the facts, the theory propounded by Mr. Rice
must be said to be based on a false foundation.”

உண்மையில், இந்த ஆரியர்-திராவிடர் பற்றிய –
கற்பனையான, போலியான கருத்து உருவானது எப்படி….?

1884 -ல் மொழி ஆராய்வாளர் ஃப்ரெட்ரிக் மேக்ஸ் முல்லர்
( Friedrich Max Muller ) என்பவரை பிரிட்டிஷ்-
இந்திய அரசு, ரிக்வேதம் பற்றிய ஆராய்ச்சியில் ஈடுபடவும்,
ரிக்வேதத்தை ஆங்கிலத்தில் மொழிபெயர்க்கவும்
நியமனம் செய்து இந்தியாவுக்கு வரவழைத்தது…

இது குறித்த மேல் விவரங்கள் சில –

In 1884, linguistic Friedrich Max Muller was appointed by the British government to translate
the Rig Veda.

In this process he discovered that the Sanskrit, Latin, Persian & Greek languages had a few common words. Some scholars also thought that
Aryans migrated to India first
and they wrote Rig Veda only in India –
their last destination.

Their justification was that Aryans came to India with the words & hymns of the Rig Veda.
So according to this, Iranians should have
something written something about this in their historical manuscripts, but no it wasn’t.

Gayatri Mantra was composed around 5 thousand
years ago, well before the so called Aryan race started entering India.

According to Muller,
the Aryans must have come chanting the Gayatri Mantra all the way. Obviously, the leftover
Aryans in Iran must have been chanting the hymn regularly….!!!

But ancient Iranian literature has
no similar hymns.

No other Indo-European race
had any literary work earlier than Rig Veda.

The Earliest literary work of the Iranians
“The AVESTA” was written much later.
In the Rig Veda the word “deva” means God
& “asura” means Demon.
On the contrary, in Avesta, “ahura” means God
& “daeva” means Evil demon.

Thus there are many reasons to believe that
the Aryans, the aforesaid foreigners, were
in fact indigenous priests who wrote
the Rig Veda.

Probably some Indian priests might have migrated from India to Iran & Europe with the knowledge
of Sanskrit. They must have added a few words
of Sanskrit to the native language.

But now, many historians believe that Aryans
were indigenous to the Indian Subcontinent &
lived in a western India around Punjab.

New historians argue that the theory of Aryan invasion has no archaeological evidence.

Anthropologist Edmund Leach said in 1990
“Aryan invasion never happened”.
Furthermore, the poets of Rig Veda also
have not mentioned any story of their long
migrating journey.
